About Us

His name has become synonymous with innovation, results, and your pursuit for physical fitness. Matt Proskin is a distinguished fitness expert and personal trainer. Matt comes from a background of athletics and strength and conditioning. During his undergraduate degree at the university of Pittsburgh studying exercise science he began as an intern in the strength and conditioning department, where he gained valuable experience in all aspects of running a successful division I program. Upon graduation, Matt was hired by the university as an assistant strength and conditioning coach where he had direct supervision of men's swimming, men's and women's track and field and women's tennis. With Matt's help the men's swim team won the big east championship. Matt also coached many athletes who won individual big east championships, broke big east and school records, and qualified for the NCAA championships.

From his position at the university of Pittsburgh Matt moved take a position as a fitness facility manager, personal trainer, and strength coach. This move gave him an opportunity to work with more of a variety of clientele from rehabilitation, seniors, youth, teen, weight management, bodybuilding, power lifting, and recreational athletes. This gave him a more rounded background in training as well as experience in fitness management and consulting. During this time he also was able to continue to build on his education in exercise science by completing his master's degree in exercise science and health promotion: performance enhancement and injury prevention from California university of Pennsylvania. This solidified his ability to apply theory through education into practical application. Matt also has a vast education in nutrition and provides a detailed plan to help you continuously move toward your goals through nutrition in addition to an innovative fitness program. His clients have achieved unimaginable weight loss, unparallel strength gains, improved their fitness and conditioning to incredible levels, and recovered from injuries they were told they never would recover from.
Through Matt's success in strength and conditioning and athletics he has become a premier name in the region for helping athletes achieve the next level. He has the opportunity to train middle school and high school and collegiate, competitors, state champions and record setters, professional and Olympic athletes.
Most recently a long time trainee of Matt’s achieved the pinnacle of sport earning an Olympic gold and bronze medal in swimming.
Matt has trained athletes at all levels, all ages 6 - 90, and in all sports, golf to football. He is renowned as a leader in youth and teen fitness programming. His individual and group youth and teen training protocols serve as a industry model and have a significant impact on youth and teen fitness in the region.
Matt is no stranger to success, as a high school athlete he earned 12 varsity letters in 4 sports over 4 years, as well as receiving all-conference, championship and performance awards. Matt has been featured in several newspapers for his accomplishments and his work in youth and teen training. Matt still competes in
Olympic lifting and power lifting has won and placed in numerous events. Matt demands success from himself and he puts this same attitude into helping you achieve your fitness goals. Matt has the education and proven success to get you where you want and deserve to be.
Matt continues to train a dedicated group of clients and athletes on their pursuit of personal success and molding the youth and teens of Pittsburgh with his interactive fitness programs.
